In 1977 Kodak entered the instant picture market  with a range of cameras and new film, which claimed was different to the Polaroid process however Polaroid disagreed and a long litigation case was ended in 1985 with a judgment against Kodak. From 1986 all Kodak instant cameras and films were withdrawn from the market. As a result these cameras will become rare.
